Bird Show, founded in 2021 as a virtual exhibition space, is a seasonal outdoor project space in Chicago. This rotating exhibition space features works by artists interested in engaging with Chicago’s flora and fauna with sanctuary-like sculptures or installations.
Bird Show endeavors to support Chicagoland’s artistic and environmental ecosystems by providing opportunities for artists, writers, and performers to share their work in a biodiverse outdoor exhibition space that can be accessed virtually. We celebrate abundance, advocate for artists and writers, provide free and accessible public programming, and work sustainably towards climate justice and community food sovereignty.
